Hours

Hospital: Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Saturday 8:30 a.m. to Noon 

Early morning drop offs are generally possible but must be arranged in advance.

Examinations at the hospital are by appointment. Because popular time slots may fill up quickly, we appreciate your warning us if you are unable to keep an appointment.  That way we can help another pet.  Emergency cases are treated in the order of their urgency. It is best to call the hospital before bringing in an emergency case to ensure that a doctor will be available to assist you. An additional fee will be charged for services rendered after regular hours. 

Because the number of veterinarians willing to tend to their own patients outside of regular hours is so limited, we have been forced to limit our emergency care to our own clients and patients seen in the last 3 years.  We no longer accept patients from other veterinarians for after hours care.

Payment of all fees is expected when services are rendered unless credit is approved in advance. The Urbana Veterinary Clinic accepts cash, checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover and Care Credit. Clients with approved credit are billed monthly. A 2% monthly service charge is added to all balances unpaid after 30 days.
