The Urbana Veterinary Clinic is a full service Veterinary Hospital for small animals. Recently Dr. Don Sanders has joined the staff at The Ohio State University Large Animal Services at Marysville. Dr.Sanders continues to provide veterinary service to the many clients he has always provided veterinary service but under the umbrella of The Ohio State University. Large animal emergency service is available 24/7 by calling the above listed phone number.Five capable staff veterinarians rotate on emergency duty. Because the OSU facility is a training ground for new veterinarians, fourth year veterinary students answer the phones at night and on weekends then notify one of the clinicians of the request for emergency service. While fourth year students do participate in emergency cases, there is always an experienced clinician in charge of the case. The clinicians rotating duty are Dr. Bimbo Welker, Dr. Martey Masterson, Dr. Lowell Midla, Dr. Eric Gordon and of course Dr. Don Sanders, co-founder of the Urbana Veterinary Clinic, Inc.
The small animal portion of the Urbana Veterinary Clinic is still based at the same Urbana location under the capable leadership of Dr. Judy Sanders. After hour emergencies for small animals is still available 24/7 to our regular clients. We no longer accept small animal patients after hours for emergency service from other veterinarians. If clients wish to receive emergency service, their pet’smedical records must have indicated a visit to the clinic within the past three years.
