The Facilities

The spacious Urbana Veterinary Clinic hospital includes: complete diagnostic and treatment facilities for small and large animals. For small animals the hospital has three examination rooms, a treatment complex, a surgery room and hospital ward with indoor dog runs. For large animals there is a loading dock, indoor cattle chute and headgates.
The Clinic's treatment and surgery rooms feature isoflurane and sevoflurane gas anesthesia, a surgical laser, EKG, pulse oxymetry monitors and radiology equipment capable of performing standing radiographs with rare earth screens. The Clinic even has its own generator for use in the event of a power failure.
For the care of both small and large animals, the Clinic has a microbiology, chemistry and clinical pathology lab equipped to do many routine tests and procedures. Because of this lab, the Clinic staff is less dependent on outside laboratory testing services, lessening the cost to the patient, plus providing immediate test results. The hospital also features a well-stocked veterinary pharmacy for the convenience of clients and the Clinic staff.
